During this pre-GMM, the 35th board of BeeVee will discuss the documents on which will be voted during the biannual GMM. These include the 'Adjusted budget for 2020', the 'LuCA2020 extension request' and the 'Social media guidelines'. If you have any questions about other documents, you can always add these to the agenda at the start of the meeting.
Below you will read how the biannual GMM (and the pre-GMM of 23 September) will exactly take place. Please read these guidelines carefully before attending the GMM.
First of all, the General Meeting of Members (and the pre-GMM) will take place via Zoom. You can find the link for the pre-GMM of 23 September here and the link for the GMM of 7 October here. Please do not forward these links. You can attend the pre-GMM on 23-09-2020 from 12:15 onwards.
Furthermore, the board would like to request that every attendee of the GMM uses his or her own laptop to join the meeting. So also when you are sitting together with other people, please use your own laptop. After all, the board needs to keep track of everyone who is joining the GMM. We also would like to request that you do not sit together with people who are not a member of BeeVee, as the discussed articles are only meant for BeeVee’s members.
Subsequently, we would like to explain some things about the actions you can/should perform in the Zoom meeting. Firstly, we want to ask you if you can mute yourselves when you enter the meeting and only unmute yourself when you get permission from the chairman. Also, make sure you are wearing headphones to prevent any echoes.
Secondly, please change your name to your first and last name.
Thirdly, if you want to say something, you can use the button ‘raise hand’. You will then get the turn to speak by the chairman.
Fourthly, if someone requests a voting per acclamation, you can use the ‘clap’ button at the bottom of the screen to indicate you are in favour of the concerning document or decision.
We hope these rules are clear for you and do not hesitate to ask any questions by emailing us or by asking them during the GMM. We hope to see you all!
