Important update following COVID-19 developments

The Board
12 March 2020

ANNOUNCEMENT 12-03-2020, 17.00h

Dear member,

As you might have heard, COVID-19 (the coronavirus) is spreading and more measures are being taken. Today, 12/03/2020, the Dutch government has announced that events with more than 100 people have to be cancelled until at least the 31st of March. The decisions of the government also affect our association and its activities. After all, BeeVee organises quite some activities on this large scale. With the information we have now, the board has taken the decision to follow the advice of the government and the Radboud University. This means we have to cancel activities that meet this scale, at least until the 31st of March. For updates about upcoming BeeVee activities, make sure to check the BeeVee website (beevee.nl).
Due to these measures, it has also been decided by the 35th board and LuCA2020 that the central ticket sale for the lustrum period will be postponed. The alternative will be announced soon. We are now assuming that the lustrum itself will not be cancelled, but for this we are mostly dependent on decisions made by the government and the Radboud University. You will be kept updated about this, for which you can check beevee.nl/lustrum/updates-covid-19.

If you have any questions about the effects of the coronavirus measures on BeeVee activities and the lustrum, feel free to ask a board member or to email to:  beevee@science.ru.nl.

With love,

The 35th board of BeeVee
