Symposium 2019: Into the Wild Unknown
On the 13th of March the annual symposium of BeeVee will take place! During this year’s symposium ‘Into the Wild Unknown’ a journey into the deep sea will be made, the search for biology in outer space will be discussed and different groups of extremophiles that live in extreme environments, like Italian volcanic ecosystems, will be introduced. There will also be a lecture on the effects of radiation on DNA and the application of nuclear technology in food.
The symposium takes place from 12:30h to 17:30h in HG00.304 and we will kick the day off with a delicious lunch. The tickets can be bought on the 20th, 21st, 22nd , 25th and 26th of February during the break at the board room. For members of BeeVee a ticket costs €4 , for non-members €5.
