Symci presents: a lecture on Dinosaur Paleontology!

We all know them from the movies, the books and the colorful plastic (or plush) toys we played with in our childhood: dinosaurs. They all spark our imagination; everyone has an idea of what dinosaurs used to look like. But how do we know this for sure? Paleontologist Anne Schulp will take you along to the excavations of the Tyrannosaurus rex and triceratops and will tell you about the research that helped bringing those extinct animals 'back to life'!
Anne Schulp (1974) is a professor at the Utrecht University and a researcher at Naturalis in Leiden. Especially dinosaurs and mosasaurs have his interest.
This amazing lecture will take place on the 14th of February at 12:15h in HG00.303. You can also join us for a delicious lunch if you send a mail to before February 12th. The costs for that will be €2.50 , which you can bring with you on the 14th.
