In may, we had the networking, where alumni and students attended a workshop on how to network, perform this with eachother and enjoy delicious tapas while doing so

The Game of Life
On Friday April 23rd, students and alumni talked abouth their career in an online format of the Game of Life.
By doing this game and ask each other all kinds of questions, steps in career were discussed.

ARK excursion to the Millingerwaard

On Sunday morning a group of 20 students and 10 alumni joined the excursion with ARK nature. ARK showed their projects with otters and beavers in the Millingerwaard. During the walk there was enough time for everone to get to know eachother.

Speeddating and barbeque

On the 14th of February, the annual speeddate activity took place. This year the theme was Winter BBQ! Alumni could talk with different students and share their experiences in the work field of biology, during three speeddate rounds. Thanks to the alumni present for all their helpful tips! 

 

Fossil tour at the Bastei

Under the guidance ot two experts on fossils we got an exclusive backstage tour in the
repository of the Bastei. Afterwards we could visit the Bastei itself to marvel at is many
expositions. It was a fun and educational afternoon in which we all learned a lot about fossils.

Foodtrucks and speeddate session

In three rounds different alumni talked to different students about their career. Many students
received helpful tips from the alumni they talked to. Afterwards some alumni joined us for a
quick walk around the boardroom of BeeVee and the canteens.

East Indian ink workshop

Together with Kultuur, Ac organised a fun and creative workshop with East Indian ink. Many masterpieces were made that surprised even the ‘artists’ themselves.
